Calling all aspiring game developers: don’t miss this rare opportunity to land your dream job in the games industry!

Are you passionate about code and all things programming? Have you worked on your own game before? Do you dream of building a career in the mobile games industry? Then this might just be the opportunity you’ve been searching for.

Futureplay is on the lookout for aspiring programmers with a passion for mobile gaming to come and join us.

Working alongside some of the industry’s most seasoned professionals, you’ll support, maintain and update our successful portfolio of mobile games as you begin your journey to become the game programmer you always wanted to be.

You don’t need extensive industry experience. You don’t need qualifications. You don’t even need a deep technical background (beyond knowing your way around Unity and C#).

Rather, we’re looking for people who are self-driven and proactive, and ready to take their first steps on a career in game development.

Does that sound like you? Then read on…

Futureplay’s games have been played by 140 million people worldwide, and our latest release Merge Gardens is our best yet. The only garden game that combines merge and match-3 mechanics, it’s got serious potential to be a contender in the top-grossing casual game charts.

We’re very excited about Merge Gardens. But don’t just take our word for it — the industry has taken note, too. We’ve recently been acquired by Plarium, the makers of the mobile megahit RAID: Shadow Legends, who are backing us to make Merge Gardens a global success.

And you’ll be right in the midst of making that happen.

Though you’re junior by experience, you’ll be taking on a wide range of coding tasks to help drive the game’s growth.

You’ll be a crucial part of all the phases of feature development from ideas to releases — but of course, you won’t be in it alone.

As part of the junior role, we’ll be running regular meetings, workshops, and Q&As to bring you right up to speed on crucial industry topics and areas of expertise. You’ll have a support network of mobile gaming veterans who will make sure you have everything you need to get the very best out of yourself.

The best part? There’s no such thing as stupid questions at Futureplay. We’ve a relaxed company culture and we pride ourselves on making sure everyone feels comfortable and welcome.

In fact, work-life balance is at the centre of everything we do.

We know that sometimes, some things take priority — and that’s the way it should be. For us there’s no such thing as nine-to-five. It doesn’t matter where or when you get the work done, as long as it gets done.

Futureplay has always been a great place to learn and grow, but our acquisition by Plarium makes now a more exciting time than ever to join us. Partnering with one of the world’s largest game studios has given us a unique opportunity to put Merge Gardens in the pockets of even more players all over the world.

It’s a ride we’re loving every second of, and if you’re the sort of person who loves solving problems in a fast-paced learning environment, then we’re sure you will too.

Come and be part of the team!

Thanks for all the applications. Recruitment is closed for now.
